I admire your attitude, and I’m thinking I should take lessons as I probably wouldn’t be as positive as you sound! That’s a wide range of places, possible new opportunities and beginnings. Wish you the best. The unemployment bug has hit almost everyone in my family. It’s rough, but there are ways to see it as an opportunity if you can be patient.

The same bug bit me in January. If you’re eligible for Cobra, the feds are paying 65% of the cost for nine months. That’s major. Grab it. They’re also paying an extra $25 a month in added unemployment. It adds up.

Pretty much all the places you mentioned are expensive, and the unemployment rate is high. Kansas and Missouri are reasonable, but then again, Kansas and Missouri, although Missouri is one of the best places I’ve lived. Gorgeous.
